– Raymond L. Beauregard, 83, a resident of Bayberry at Emerald Court died Monday February 16th at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jeannine D. (Cournoyer) Beauregard, whom he married on April 19, 1958.
He was born in Lowell on July 11, 1931, a son of the late Oscar and Cecile (Asselin) Beauregard.
Mr. Beauregard was a graduate of St. Louis Parochial School, Lowell High School and Lowell Technological Institute. He served with the United States Marines during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in July of 1954.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Raytheon Company as a procurement specialist. He had also worked part time at Russell's Clothing.
Ray was a lifelong parishioner of the former St. Louis de France Parish, was a member of the Franco-American Committee, the Veteran's of St. Louis, the Parish Center of St. Louis, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the St. Louis Carousel, the 500 Club, and the Holy Name Society.
In his relaxing moments, he enjoyed watching all of the New England sports teams.
Ray was the father of five children, Lise Linehan and her husband John of Hudson, NH, Johanne Knowlton and her partner Michael Pope of Amesbury, Claudine (Cloie) Beauregard of Palm Harbor, FL, Daniel Beauregard and his wife Ana of Dracut, and the late Marc Beauregard; 6 grandchildren, Michael Linehan of Hudson, NH, Timothy Linehan of Philadelphia, PA, Justin Knowlton and his wife Rebecca and their son Colton of Lowell, Jesse Knowlton of Amesbury, Abigail and Alexandria Beauregard of Dracut.
He was predeceased by his sister Marguerite (Beauregard) Bailly and his brother Father Paul Beauregard, O.M.I.
