Raoul J. "Ralph" Beaulieu, Jr., 84, a lifelong resident of Lowell died peacefully on Saturday November 16, 2013 at the D'Youville Rehabilitation Center with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Alice T. (Gauvin) Beaulieu of Lowell with whom he was married for 58 years. Born in Lowell on December 13, 1928, he was a son of the late Raoul J. and Roseanna (Dore) Beaulieu. In 1951, Ralph enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, Ralph was employed by Lowell Dairy for 25 years, having been a milk machine operator. He also worked at Prince Spaghetti in Lowell. He was a communicant of St. Margaret Church and was a member of the parish bowling league. He very much enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and 45's. He was an avid New England sports fan, particularly supporting the World Series Championship winning Red Sox. Being at home with his wife and family was his favorite place to be. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Raymond "Ray" Beaulieu and his wife, Cindy (Hall) of Dracut, Donald Beaulieu and his wife, Katie (Cooney) of Lowell, Robert Beaulieu of Lowell; three daughters, Lucille "Lucy" Vandette and her husband, Robert of Boxford, Susan Boyle and her husband, Edward of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Irene O'Neill and her husband, Brian of Lowell; a brother, George Beaulieu and his wife, Jeannette of Nashua, NH; a sister, Claire Gamache of Nashua, NH; a sister-in-law, True Gauvin of Pelham, NH; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was the father of the late Doris Beaulieu and brother of the late Leo Beaulieu, Alfred "Satch" Beaulieu, Annette May Jean, Rita McKinnon, Simone Turcotte, Theresa Handley and Yvette Nee.
