Rachel (Dubois)(Bilodeau) Vigeant, 98, a longtime Lowell resident, died peacefully on Thursday March 1, 2012 at the Wingate at Belvidere Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Residence with her family by her side.
Born in Thetford Mines Province, Quebec, Canada on February 25, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Villina (Skiling) Dubois.
For many years, Rachel was employed as a spinner for Warley Worsted Mills of Lowell.
Survivors include five children, Normand Bilodeau and his wife, Amanda of Dracut, Florence Cloutier and her husband, Raymond of Montreal, Canada, Girard Bilodeau of Montreal, Canada, Jacqueline Bilodeau of Montreal, Canada, Paul Bilodeau and his wife, Katharina of Mount Juliet, TN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, John-Jacques Bilodeau and all of her brothers and sisters.
