Rachel M. Belleville

Pelham- Rachel M. (Bellemare) Belleville, 73, wife of Raymond B. Belleville, died Sunday, October 31 from injuries as a result of an automobile accident in Hudson NH. She was born in Lowell on March 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Leo J and Florence (Drapeau) Bellemare.
Mrs. Belleville was a resident of Lowell before moving to Pelham, NH and was a graduate of Lowell High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She also attended the New England Conservatory of Music.
Mrs. Belleville was employed at Brox Industries in Dracut, St. John's Hospital as a secretary and the former Medical Associates in Chelmsford where she was an Office Manager.
A communicant of St Patrick Church in Pelham, she was a Church Organist, Choir Director and Soloist for 33 years. She was also a Cantor for St. Patrick Church and was a part time organist at St. Kathryn's Church in Hudson, NH.
Mrs. Belleville was a member of the New Greeley Singers in Pelham and the Spindle City Singers in Lowell and a former member of the Lowell Opera. She was a former member of the Women's Guild at St Patrick and former PTO President of St Patrick School.
Surviving her besides her husband Raymond of 49 years are two sons, Marc L. Belleville and Dr. Mary Jo Shaffer of Hudson, NH and David Belleville and his wife Arlene of Chelmsford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Michael Fitterman of Harvard, MA and Michelle and William Blake of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren, Alexandra and Olivia Belleville, Rachel and Daniel Fitterman , Nicole and Cameron Blake. She was the sister of the late Leo J Bellemare who died in 1943 at the age of 10.
