Phyllis A. Notini, passed away on August 18, 2018, at her Dracut residence, following a brief illness. She was 73.
Born in Lowell on August 12, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minta (Leavitt) Notini.
Phyllis graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame, Tyngsboro and then Emmanuel College, Boston.
She lived in Boston and West Bridgewater for many years and returned to Dracut five years ago.
Phyllis loved to volunteer. She helped prepare meals in the kitchen at Bridgewater Senior Center and recently the Dracut Senior Center.
An avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, Phyllis would complete the crossword puzzle in the New York Times daily.
She enjoyed travel and the outdoors as well as her pets, but most of all Phyllis loved to be around her family. She had a contagious laugh that would permeate any family get together.
Surviving are her ten siblings and spouses, Arlene Sochalski of Bedford, NH, Arthur J. and Kathy Notini of Dracut, Richard and Karen Notini of Pelham, NH, Dolores Notini of Hampstead, NH, Michael Notini of Windham, NH, Rosanne and James Toscano of Pelham, NH, Mary-Jo Chiklis of Louisville, KY, Stephen and Carolyn Notini of Pelham, NH, Douglas and Lisa Notini of Fuquay Varina, NC, Mark Notini of Dracut; many nieces and nephews as well as cousins, especially Carol Fournier of Westford, Joyce Mulvey of Weston, Janet Ballos of Lowell.
Relatives and friends are invited to Phyllis' Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday. Her funeral service will be in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
