Phyllis A. Halentic

PELHAM, NH - Phyllis A. Halentic, age 76, a resident of Pelham, NH died Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Palm Skilled Nursing Care Center in Chelmsford.  

She was born in Lowell on December 9, 1945, and was a daughter of the late Emile M. Halentic and Gladys (Pickels) Silva and her husband the late Joseph A. Silva.  She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1963.  She was a member of The 60s Chicks, who are a group of women that graduated from Lowell High in the 1960s that periodically get together.  

Phyllis proudly served her country in the United States Navy. 

Prior to her illness, she was employed for many by Millipore Corporation.

Phyllis was a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan of the Boston Red Sox.  Seeing them win the World Series was a moment that she cherished.

She is survived by a son, David Lewis and his partner Jessica; 

a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and James Price of To, GA; her daughter-in-law, Carly Mix; her pride and joy, her five grandchildren, Ryan Mix and his wife Sondra of Pelham, NH, Ariana Price, Lauren Price, and Emily Price, all of Toccoa, GA and Zachary Lewis of Nashua, NH and great granddaughter, Charlotte Mix; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Joan Silva of Orange, MA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Denise Blinn of Pelham, NH and Linda and Andrew Vanti of Pelham, NH; two dear friends, Ruth and Sheila and many nieces and nephews.  She will be deeply missed. 

She was also the mother of the late Jeffrey Lewis and the sister of the late Rita Marie Silva and Ruth Carroll.  

It being her wish, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 12:00pm at Lowell Cemetery, 77 Knapp Ave., in Lowell.
