Peter A. Turcotte

DRACUT - Peter A. Turcotte, Sr., age 82, a resident of Dracut and former longtime resident of Tewksbury died Friday, November 19th at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra L. (Silva) Turcotte who died in 2018.

He was born in Woburn, MA on February 2, 1939, and was a son of the late Paul J. and Camille M. (LeBrun) Turcotte.

Peter proudly served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years as a general contractor.

Peter was an avid collector.

He is survived by three sons, Michael Turcotte of Lowell, Danny Turcotte and his wife Donna of Peabody, and Steven Brown of Ossipee, NH; two daughters, Claire Wiitala and her husband James of Dracut and Marie Turcotte-Wright of Lowell; two brothers, Raymond Turcotte and his wife Sandra of Tewksbury and Daniel Turcotte of Billerica; two sisters, Helene Peterson of Tyngsboro and Anne Marie Richards of Tewksbury; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Claire R. Turcotte; his sons, Peter Turcotte, Paul Turcotte, Willie Turcotte, and Raymond Turcotte; his siblings, John Turcotte, Pauline Turcotte, Camille Sullivan, Ruth Carney, and Lucille Roberts; and his sister-in-law, Diane Turcotte, loving wife of Daniel Turcotte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peter's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Wednesday, December 1st from 4:00 to 7:00pm followed by his Funeral Service at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
