Peter J. LeMay

LEMAY - Peter John LeMay, 51, a resident of Dracut died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Lowell on June 25, 1965, and was the son of Leo L. LeMay and the late Annette G. (Gaumont) LeMay. He received his education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School, class of 1983.

Peter was the owner of LeMay Building and Remodeling. He was a longtime member of the Passe Temps Club in Lowell.

He spent his summers at Cobbetts Pond in Windham, NH, where he enjoyed spending time with his family, swimming, and boating. Peter loved all sports, especially the New England Patriots and was a longtime Patriots season ticket holder. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and hiking and swimming with his favorite and constant companion, his dog Bernie.

In addition to his father, Peter is survived by his three brothers, Kenneth LeMay and his wife Joyce of Hampton Beach, NH, William LeMay of Nantucket, and Steven LeMay and his fiance Judy Squeglia Windham, NH; his sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Anderson and her husband Michael of Dracut; and his eight nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Ryan, Jessica, Timothy, Katie, Christopher, and Amanda.
