Penny E. Cote

Penny E. Cote, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA.

Born in Lowell on April 2, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edna (Martineau) and David Cote, where she was raised and lived all her life.

Penny loved being around her family, especially spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She was generous, kind and filled with compassion for others and would do anything to help anyone. She worked in the nursing industry, where she loved to care for the elderly and the sick.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jesteen Newey; her three grandchildren, Christopher Arsenault, Cody McCarron and Mikayla Moser and her husband Joshua; her four great-grandchildren; her two brothers, Larry Cote and Bruce Cote and his wife Connie; her sister, Irene Coates and her husband James; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Penny is predeceased by her brothers David Cote, Maurice Cote and her grandson Jeffery J. Newey.

Relatives and friends are invited to Penny’s funeral service on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12 PM in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
