Pearl L. (LaForest) Costello, beloved wife of John P. Costello, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage this past September, a
Pelham, NH, resident died Thursday December 2, 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 75.
Pearl was born in Lowell on February 7, 1935 a daughter of the late John B. and Louise (Beland) LaForest.
Pearl enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished doll maker. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Pearl’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving her besides her husband are her four children and their families, John P. Costello of Pelham,NH, Louisa C. “Lisa” and James Crowley of Hampton, NH, Kathleen E. and Craig Crowell of Greenland, NH, Anne M. and Raymond Brunelle of Pelham, NH; six grandchildren, Allison Crowley, Brian Crowley, Katherine Crowell, Zachary Crowell, Alex Brunelle, Sarah Brunelle; a brother and sister in law, Jean and Joanne LaForest of Wolfeboro, NH; three sisters and two brothers in law, Claire and Mike Grenier of Vernon, CT, Gloria O’Neil of Lowell, Lorraine and Paul Ryan of Wolfeboro, NH; a dear cousin Theresa Dastous of Litchfield, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Flore LaForest.
