Pearl M. Brown

Pearl M. Brown – Age 89, wife of the late Charles A. Brown, died peacefully Wednesday, November 23 at DYOUVILLE Senior Care in Lowell, MA.  

She was born in Somerville, MA, August 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Alphonso and Verna (Lowe) Martin and lived in Kissimmee, FL before moving back to Massachusetts in 2017. She was married to Charles Brown for over 50 years.

Pearl was predeceased by her brother, Al Martin of Lowell, MA. She is survived by her brother James Martin and his wife Esther of Switzerland, also by her two sons, Charles A Brown and his wife Patricia of Lumberton, NJ and Wayne A Brown and his wife Joanne of Dracut, MA. She is also survived by her granddaughter Shannon Capraro, her husband Anthony, and her great grandson Benjamin Capraro of Delran, NJ.

In addition, Pearl leaves many nieces and nephews.

Pearl was known for her positive outlook on life; she sincerely saw the best in everyone. She enjoyed fun times with the Red Hats while living in Florida, time at the pool and getting together with friends.  She also enjoyed many summers when her boys were growing up, camping with the family in New Hampshire. She loved reading, dogs, and spending time with family.

At her request, there will be no calling hours.  The Brown family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff of D’Youville Senior Care and Beacon Hospice for their care, compassion, and empathy.
