LOWELL - Pauline A. (Archambault) Souza, 89, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lowell on February 6, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Lillian (St. Cyr) and Henry Archambault.
She attended St. Joseph elementary & St. Joseph high school & graduated with high honors.
For many years Pauline worked at Macy's and when she retired she played golf in a women's golf league and loved to ice skate in the winter.
Most recently in her free time, Pauline enjoyed sewing, reading, going to the beach and could often be found taking long walks around the neighborhood.
Her life was centered around her family, her daughter and her grandchildren. Our family will miss her tremendously as she was our inspiration and Guiding Light.
She was a loving sister to the late Lorraine Matterazo, Rita Cortourier, Jeanette Vermette, Alice Bouchard, Louie Archambault and Ray Archambault.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband Robert, her daughter, Maureen (Souza) Campbell of Lowell; her three grandchildren, Jessica, Justin and Joshua; her great-grandson, Dillon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
It being her wish, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to St. Joseph the Worker Shrine, 37 Lee Street, Lowell MA 01852.
