Pauline C. (Leduc) Quintal, age 79, a life-long resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Quintal, until his passing in 2020.
Born in Lowell on October 14, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Claire (Tremblay) and Ernest Leduc. For many years, Pauline worked as a solderer for Wang Laboratories.
Pauline loved crafts, playing games, especially card games and going out shopping. One of her favorite past times was checking out all the local flea markets. She also loved her cat Max, one of the many cats she rescued throughout the years.
However her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren and more recently, her great-grandchildren. They enjoyed going to Canobie Lake Park, the lake, the zoo and Yogi Bear Park. Her Sunday dinners will be missed, that she would make for the entire family as well as her cookouts for every holiday. She will be truly missed.
Pauline is survived by her five children, Michael Quintal of Lowell, Debra Flaherty of Nashua, NH, Mark Quintal, Tammy Groulx and her husband, Dave and Scott Quintal all of Lowell; her twelve grandchildren, Jason, Kendra, Kaitlyn, Derek, Shane, Amy, Michael, Nicole, Kevin, Tylor, Hallie and Christian; her six great-grandchildren, Lana, Millie, Mia, Daniel, Scarlett and Lucy; her sisters, Carol Geer and her husband, Roger of CT and Joanne Garthe and her husband, Erik of MD; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Tessie Frechette.
Relatives and friends are invited to her services on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, Chelmsford.
