LOWELL - Pauline D. (Surprenant) McKinnon, 86, a Lowell resident, died peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday evening, December 27, 2016 at the Palm Center in Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Rene J. McKinnon to whom she had been married for 63 years.
Pauline was born in Lowell on October 23, 1930.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the former St. Joseph's Hospital as a nurses' aide.
She was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church for many years prior to their closure.
Pauline was a resident of Roger's Hall in Lowell and enjoyed socializing with the other residents in the community room.
She enjoyed playing bingo, but most important to her was spending time with her family.
Pauline is survived by a son, Donald McKinnon of Seabrook, NH; four daughters and their spouses, Jeannine McKinnon of Lowell, Lorraine Stimpson and Joe Landry of Dracut, Pauline McKinnon and John Inglis of Hudson, NH and Terry and Dave Williams of Dracut; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews. She was the mother-in-law of the late Donna McKinnon and Richard Tellier.
