Pauline M. (Daigle) Levesque, 87, a longtime resident of Dracut, went to her final resting place on Saturday July 27, 2013 following a sudden illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Levesque.
Born in Lowell on July 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Albert G. and Marie R. (Chalifoux) Daigle.
Pauline worked alongside her husband Ray, at their transportation company, Pierce Transportation. She was an intricate part of managing schedules for their busy bus and cab services.
Pauline was very community oriented and during election years, would look forward to working at the polls in Dracut. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marguerite d'Youville Parish.
Above all things, Pauline's family was the most important part of her life and she cherished all of the good times they had together.
Survivors include seven children, Joyce M. Read of Manchester, NH, Raymond A. Levesque of Chester, NH, Jill A. Charbonneau of Dracut, Steven J. Levesque and his wife Candace (Jamison) of Lowell, Elizabeth R. Buell and her husband, Ray of Litchfield, NH, Toby E. Levesque of Litchfield, NH and Cynthia J. Gray of Dracut. She was the mother of the late Jeffrey E. Levesque who died in 1969. She is also survived by two brothers, Albert G. Daigle of Dracut, Royal Daigle of Lowell; four sisters, Priscilla Daigle and her husband, Roger of Dracut, Rachel Descoteaux and her husband, Albert of Dracut, Joanne Gilbert of Dracut, Isabelle Poirier and her husband, Roland of Lowell; a brother in law, Robert Levesque and his wife, Dolly of Lyndeborough, NH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great, great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and dear friends.
