ATTLEBORO- Pauline D. (Adams) Howard, 84, of Attleboro, formerly of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Thursday September 18, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Howard.
Born in Lowell on June 16, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Tyler H. and Alvina A. (Normand) Adams.
Pauline was employed as a Quality Control Supervisor by Raytheon.
She served in the Navy during World War II.
She was a former parishioner of St. Margaret's Church and a member of the Ladies Sodality of that parish. She was also a former member of Sacred Heart Band Boosters.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Levine and her husband Howard of Attleboro, Susan Burns and her husband William of Lowell; four grandchildren, Dara and Jenna Levine of Attleboro, Kerri and Jamie Burns of Lowell; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul Adams and his wife Sally of Manchester, NH; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruth M. Gallagher of Sandown, NH, Jacqueline T. LaFrance and her husband Richard of Bow, NH.
She was the sister of the late Gerald T. Adams, Russell Adams and Bernadette Adams.
