Mrs. Pauline L. (Dubois) Green, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica after a long illness.
She was married for ten years to the late Mr. Abraham Green, who passed away on September 21, 1991.
Born in Lowell on July 28, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Emma (Ducharme) Dubois. She attended the Lowell parochial schools, graduated from the former St. Joseph High School.
She worked at Turgeon Bros. in Lowell, and the former R. Rosenbloom Paper Co, Inc. in Lowell, as the Manager for 35 years, retiring in 1986. After her retirement, she and her husband moved to Scottsdale, AZ. She later moved to San Antonio, TX, and returned to MA in 2009.
Pauline’s family and friends were most important to her. Children, especially babies brought her much joy. She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, problem solving and her stuffed animals. She is remembered for her contagious laughter and outstanding sense of humor. Pauline will be missed by everyone fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her niece, Madeleine (Pinard) Boisvert and her husband, Richard, Sr. of Nashua, NH and nephews, Jean Pinard (godson) and his wife Rita, of Dracut, MA; Andre Pinard of Asheboro, NC, Gerard Pinard of Agawam, MA, Daniel Pinard of San Antonio, TX, and Victor Pinard and his companion Shauntel Pike, of Long Beach, CA; godsons, Kevin Boucher and Richard Talbot and his wife Diane. Special cousins Gertrude Ducharme, and Roger (Buddy) Boucher and lifetime friend Pearl (Lafontaine) (Boucher) Rivard; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was the sister of the late Yvette A. (Dubois) Pinard, Lillian Dubois and infant brother, Gerard Dubois.
