LOWELL – Pauline M. (Riberdy) Fleury, a Lowell and Dracut resident for many years, most recently residing at J. C. Place, died Monday morning, January 7, 2013 at her grandsons' residence in Chelmsford, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph G.E. Fleury who died on January 22, 2005.
Born in Lowell on February 8, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Zephir and Lena (Patenaude) Riberdy.
Pauline was a graduate of Dracut High School, Class of 1946.
She was a member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut and also belonged to the Dracut Senior Citizens Club, AARP and the Lowell Council on Aging.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the AGFA Corporation of Wilmington. She had previously been employed by the IRS.
She is survived by a son, Paul Fleury and his wife Joan of Dracut; a daughter, Jacqueline (Fleury) (Blute) Oliveria and her husband Philip of Dracut; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Fleury of Manchester, NH; a brother, Bernard J. Riberdy and his wife Rita of Ft. Myers, FL; two sisters, Margaret Connors of Endicott, NY and Rita St. Onge of Chelmsford; a sister-in-law, Rita Fleury of FL; 8 grandchildren, James Blute and his wife Nicole, Sandra (Blute) Koch and her husband Carl, Greg Blute and his longtime friend Krysten, Lynden Fleury, David Fleury and his fiancé Natalie, Christopher Fleury and his wife Tiffany, Jennifer Fleury and Gary Raymond; 7 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph G. Fleury, Jr. and Dorothy Fleury and sister of the late Alice Monbleau. She also leaves her best friend, Terry Prokos of Dracut.
