DRACUT - Pauline R. (Christman) Dorval, 81, a resident of Dracut, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Rodolphe A. Dorval.
Born in Lowell on May 14, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Omer and Florence (Gendreau) Christman.
Mrs. Dorval enjoyed knitting, crocheting, dancing and camping. She loved to travel with her children to Wells, Maine on weekends and spending time with all of her extended family.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Marie Perrotta of Queensland, NY and Diane and David Hopler of Lowell; a son, Donald R. Dorval of NH; two brothers and their wives, Renee and Dolores Christman and Raymond and Alice Christman , all of Lowell; four sisters, Rita Burgeson of Hudson, NH, Aline Desjardens and her husband Arthur of Lawrence, Lorraine Fauvel of Dracut and Lucille Giguere and her husband Roland of Lowell; four grandchildren, Melissa Martin and her husband Jason, David A. Hopler, Jessica Dorval and Amanda Dorval; two great grandchildren, Cloe and Corbin Martin; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Shirley Dorval of Wells, ME, Doris Paquette of Dracut, Estelle and Thomas McGrath of Dracut; also several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Wilfred Christman and Violet Morin.
