Pauline F. Desrosiers

Pauline F. (Roberts) Desrosiers, widow of Lionel A. Desrosiers, died unexpectedly at her Centralville residence on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at the age of 78.
Born in Lowell on January 18, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Yvonne (Cadorette) Roberts.
Pauline was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church, where she served as lector and was active in Marriage Encounter and the CCD programs. Before her husband's death, the two were family hosts to six Japanese Exchange students attending Saint Louis Academy. Pauline was employed as a cashier at DeMoulas' Market Basket on Bridge Street in Lowell for more than 30 years. Before her death, she was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
Pauline enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and bowling. She was an active member of the Centralville and Lowell Senior Citizen Clubs at the Smith Baker Center as well as the Chelmsford and Dracut Senior Citizen Clubs. She also took pleasure in meeting with her friends on weekends to play cards. Pauline especially looked forward to breakfast out with family.
Survivors include four daughters and sons in law, Denise Y. and Joseph Tuccolo of Seabrook, NH, Jeanine E. and Richard Marrocco of Dracut, Therese P. and Leo Perrin of Tyngsboro, Charlotte D. and Steven Grinsztein of Tyngsboro; a brother and sister in law, Gerard and Betty Roberts of Charlotte, NC; a sister in law, Sandra Roberts of Schenectady, NY; eleven grandchildren- Brian Daigle, Melinda Sheehan, Ricky, Nicole, and Michelle Marrocco, Amanda Simmons, Jaclyn Fontaine, Steven and Hannah Grinsztein, Jamie and Tatum Tuccolo; seven great grandchildren, Natalie, Alexander, Julia, Brody, Jared, Alec, and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jared Tuccolo, and sister of the late George Roberts, Dorothy Roberts, Therese Boissonneault, and Paul Roberts.
