OBITUARY
LOWELL - Pauline L. (Denault) Bonin, 81, a resident of the Christian Hill Neighborhhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, died following a brief illness on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Saints Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Bonin, with whom she was married for 59 years.
Born in Lowell on November 21, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Georgiana O. (Doucette) Bonin.
Mrs. Bonin was a graduate of St. Louis Grammar School and St. Louis Academy and was a member of the St. Louis Academy Alumnae. A communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church, she was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Couples Bowling League. She was also a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens, the Centralville Senior Citizens and AARP. She was currently a member of St. Michael Parish.
Mrs. Bonin was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of both the Veteran's of St. Louis and the V.F.W. Walker Rogers Post 662.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed for over 20 years at the former Cherry & Webb Clothing Store in Lowell. Following retirement she worked part time at Pride Products of Lowell.
Mrs. Bonin was an avid reader and enjoyed going out to dance and traveling with her husband Arthur. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Mrs. Bonin is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David A. Bonin and Kenneth W. and Marlene (Williams) Bonin, all of Lowell; a sister and her husband, Juliette and Walter Boule of Florida; two grandchildren, Cara C. Bonin and Kenneth W. Bonin Jr., both of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews. She also leaves two brothers-in-law, Lionel H. Bonin and Raymond Demers, both of Lowell. She was the mother of the late Richard J. Bonin and sister of the late Ruth Robitaille, Hazel Demers and Violet Perron.
