Paul L. "Rambo" Pouliot, Jr., the beloved husband of Cheryl (Philbrick) Pouliot, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Sunday August 26, 2012 at the Lowell General Hospital. He was 42.
Paul was born in Lowell on March 26, 1970, a son of the late Paul L. and Jo-Ann (Larose) Pouliot.
He was 1988 graduate of Lowell High School. When at Lowell High School he participated in the ROTC program. This is where he earned the nickname Rambo.
Paul was employed as an auto mechanic at R & P Auto in North Chelmsford, until illness forced his retirement.
He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Suburban Men's Bowling League at Brunswick Lanes in Lowell.
Paul enjoyed sports and was an avid New England sports fan.
Surviving him besides his wife are a daughter, Amy Pouliot; a son Ryan Pouliot both of Lowell; a sister and brother in law, Pam and Colin O'Neill of Lowell; father in law and mother in law, Ronald and Theresa Emond of Dracut; sisters in law and brothers in law, Gail and John Gagnon, John Philbrick, Wayne Philbrick; his best friend Richard Belleville; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Amy Pouliot.
