LOWELL - Paul W. Nutter, age 45, died Tuesday September 23, 2008 at his Lowell
home surrounded by his family and friends after living with lung cancer
for the past 3 years.
The beloved son of Julia Theresa (Silva) Nutter of Lowell and the late George G. Nutter, Paul was born in Lowell on August 9, 1963.
In addition to his mother, Paul is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen Nutter,
Maureen Dumont, Colleen Nutter, Lisa Nutter, Nancy Nutter and her fiance' Sean Flood, and Theresa Ellsworth and her husband John; his brothers, George Nutter and his wife JoAnn, Gerard Nutter and his fiancee Donna Narbonne, Patrick Nutter, and Fred Nutter. The Uncle of 13 nieces and nephews and many adopted ones too, kids just loved his playful and childlike qualities. He is also survived by a large extended family and friends.
Paul received his education in the Lowell school system and worked various jobs in construction, plastics assembly and in local hospitals and nursing homes in janitorial services.
Paul was a gifted natural athlete and enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years. He also was a member of various dart leagues throughout the years, and especially enjoyed the Crackers League.
He also enjoyed the Patriots and Red Sox games, and Fantasy Football.
Paul was a voracious reader, enjoying every James Patterson book, history, and science books.
A music lover, Paul would spend every Sunday morning listening to Elvis and The Beatles. His musical taste influenced many of his siblings.
He was known as Poopah, his mother's special name for him, Uncle Paul to his many nieces and nephews, a loving brother and loyal friend who will be greatly missed. Paul's laugh was his trademark to those who knew him.
