LOWELL – Paul Musto, the loving husband of fifty-three years to Patricia Ann (Crider) Musto, the father of Elizabeth Musto, Anne Marie Sullivan, her husband Robert, Tony Musto, his wife Tammy, Denise DeFelice, her husband Tom, and Anne MacGregor Peterson, her husband Ret. Air Force Maj. Pete. The grandfather of Justin Peterson, Wendi Sullivan, Shannon Peterson, Robert Paul Musto, Lucia DeFelice, Connor and Katelyn Musto, Giavanna DeFelice and Madison Elise Musto.
He was the son of the late Nicholas and Ellen (Gilman) Musto. A brother of Carmine “Jiggy” Musto and his late wife Ruthie, Rosalee “Lee” Musto and her husband Roy Weston, Victor “Mickey” Musto and his wife Linda, and the late Walter Musto. He was the son-in-law of the late William and Elizabeth Crider; brother-in-law of John and Phyllis Crider, Robert Crider and his late wives Ricky and Carmen, David Crider and his late wife Jan, Elizabeth and Russell Pickard, Charles and Rita Crider, Michael and Alice Crider, and Laura and Michael Gilkey. Many nieces, nephews and friends survive him, including the Saturday morning breakfast gang and the many who knew him as a familiar face.
Paul passed away at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on January 23rd with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger. He was a retiree of The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulation for Local 6 Boston.
