Paul H. Durand

LOWELL - Paul H. Durand, 59, a Lowell resident, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at a local nursing home.
Born in Lowell on November 9, 1947, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Doris M. (Jean) Durand.
Mr. Durand served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, serving from 1966 until 1970.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Durand was employed by the Town of Chelmsford Public Schools as a custodian. He had previously worked at Pellon Corp of Lowell for many years.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Duane and Renee (Fierley) Durand of Nashua, NH and Derek Durand of Plymouth; four sisters, Cecile Nichols and her husband Bruce of Hudson, NH, Jacqueline Durand and her husband Robert of Lowell, Pauline Bourassa and her husband Michael of Nashua, NH and Diane Boermeester and her husband James of Chelmsford; two brothers, Henry Durand and his wife Louise of Westford and Gerald Durand and his wife Susan of Dracut; two grandchildren, Alexander and Olivia Durand, both of Nashua, NH; also several nieces and nephews.
