Paul A. Desilets, 91, widower of Rita M. (Brisson) Desilets, a Lowell resident, formerly of Dracut, died Monday March 5, at a local nursing home.
He was born in St. Celestin, Quebec, Canada on August 8, 1915, a son of the late Joseph and Alphonsine (Desilets) Desilets. He immigrated to the United States and became a US citizen.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Pellon Corporation for many years as a textile worker.
He was a communicant to Ste. Marguerite D'Youville parish in Dracut. Paul was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens club, and enjoyed playing Keno.
Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Barbara C. and Douglas Wielbrenner of Bell, FL; a stepdaughter and stepson in law, Vivian and Edward Jasmin of Dracut; two sisters, Marie Camacho of Chelmsford, Rosette Hervieux of Lowell; ten crandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Philip Desilets, Grace Desilets, Blanche Beauchesne, and Cecile Blanchette.
