Paul L. Chartrand, age 66, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at home after suffering for many years from Parkinson’s disease. He was a resident of Benchmark Senior Living at Forge Hill in Franklin and will be missed by many friends there. He was a former resident of Lowell, where he was born on November 1, 1958.
He was a son of the late Wilfred J. “Fred” and Florence C. “Flo” (Sawyer) Chartrand. He was the brother of the late Gerard “Gerry” Chartrand. Paul worked many years as a draftsman. He enjoyed creative carpentry in his spare time.
Paul is survived by his sister, Anita Milham and her companion, John “Brad” Davidson of North Attleboro; his nephew, Edwin Milham, Jr. of North Attleboro; his uncle, Roger Chartrand of Lowell; his aunt, Constance Tessier of Lowell; as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Paul’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 9 until 10:30 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 AM in St. Rita Parish, Lowell. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Donation Processing, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
