LOWELL - Paul W. Boisvert, age 67, a lifelong resident of Lowell died unexpectedly Friday, May 6, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital following a long illness. He was the beloved husband to the love of his life, Judith E. (Newcomb) Boisvert, who died in 1991.
He was born in Lowell on December 12, 1954, and was a son of the late Ernest J. and Therese M. (Chandonnet) Boisvert. He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. He went on to earn an associate's degree from Middlesex Community College.
Prior to his retirement, Paul was employed as an assembler by Raytheon Company in Andover. Earlier in his career he was employed in the same capacity by General Electric in Lynn and AMETEK in Wilmington.
He loved music, especially singing Karaoke, and he enjoyed bowling and writing poetry. His greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of his loving family, especially his adoring grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer L. Howard and her husband Robert of Manchester, NH, Denise S. Boisvert and her partner Robert Gagne of Lowell and Lisa M. Boisvert and her partner Hector Barreto of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Zachary Robillard, Carly Robillard, Gail Valentino, Allysia Montminy, Kayleigh Gagne, Nataley Gagne, Riley Boisvert and Judith Barreto; three brothers, William Boisvert of Lowell, Marc Boisvert of Lowell and Richard Boisvert and his wife Suzanne of Windham, NH; two sisters, Michelle Brassard and her husband Henry of Lowell and Susanne Goodrow and her husband Ronald of Indian Land, SC; a sister-in-law, Lois Lambert of Salem, NH; his longtime companion, Delores "Dee" Palladino of Henniker, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother-in-law of the late Janice Boisvert, Ralph Newcomb, Cheryl Fontes, David Newcomb and Richard Newcomb and was the uncle of the late Neil Newcomb and Daniel Roberts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Paul's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00pm. His Funeral Service will be private. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
