Patrick Wager-Felix, 67, a resident of Worcester, MA, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Kindred Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lancaster, MA. He was the husband of Carolyn A. (Parkman) Wager-Felix of Lawrence who survives him.
Born in Freetown, Africa, on April 10, 1947, he was a son of the late Patrick Wager-Felix and Augusta (Fox) Soneye of West Africa.
He was a graduate of UMASS Lowell and also attended Harvard University.
Mr. Wager-Felix was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts within the Court System as a project engineer.
An Ordained Minister for several years, he served as a minister for the Third Baptist Church of Lawrence for a period of time.
Mr. Wager-Felix was an avid New York Yankees fan.
In addition to his wife and mother he leaves three sons, Joscelyn Soneye of Milford, Seandell Soneye of Chicopee and Damien Wager-Felix of Lowell; a sister, Miranda Williams and her husband Shittu of VA; five sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Jewely and Walter Barnes of Dorchester, Ardella Starks of TX, Estella Jefferson of OH, Lynell Holmes of PA and Eloise Bennett of NY; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
