Patricia Lee (Lessard) (McFadden) Wagner, 85, passed away peacefully, at her daughter's home, surrounded by family in the early morning hours of April 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth and joy.
Affectionately known as "Patti Lee" to friends and "Neeny" to her grandchildren, she was born on March 15, 1941, in Boston, MA, to Ethel (Noonan) and Leo Lessard. She was the definition of kindness, loving, considerate and endlessly thoughtful in all she did. Her wit and sense of humor brought laughter to every room and her warm, ever-present smile made others feel instantly at ease.
Patti worked at Microwave Associates and later at the IRS in Andover, where she worked until retirement. She shared 40 years of marriage with her beloved husband, the late Harold McFadden.
She remarried in later years to James Wagner, who also predeceased her and spent many happy years in Indiantown, FL, where she was blessed with lots of wonderful, caring friends and a special companion, Howie Rollins.
Patti loved shopping, spending time near the ocean, whether vacationing on the Cape or spending time at her daughter's cottage in Prince Edward Island. She loved animals of all kinds. Patti was truly a bright light in the lives of those who knew her, never missing a chance to tell someone she loved them. She treasured every moment spent together, especially with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Her presence made the world a little softer, a little kinder, and a lot brighter.
She is survived by her two daughters, Alyson Gendreau and her husband, James of Pelham, NH and Kelly McFadden and her partner, Mark Hollien of Londonderry, NH; her stepsons, James Wagner (Prashant) and John Wagner; her four grandchildren, Kayla Oliver (Patrick), Patrick Gendreau (Emily), Casey Gendreau and his partner, Emily Parnell and Elyse Lantagne; her brother, Lee Lessard (Karen); as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love, kindness, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
In keeping with Patti's wishes and those of her family, services will be held privately. Those who wish to honor her memory are invited to do so in meaningful way by offering an act of kindness, sharing a warm smile with someone in need or making a donation to Brookhaven Hospice of Windham, NH, whose compassionate care brought comfort to Patti and her family in her final days.
