Patricia E. (Reardon) Sevigney, aged 93, beloved wife of the late Norman J. Sevigney, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Patricia, one of nine children, was born to the late Joseph and Pauline Reardon. She grew up in the Highlands and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at both Ft. Devens and Burbeck's Ice Cream before moving to Pawtucketville where she raised her family with her husband.
She was a faithful Catholic and devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother who always put her family's needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed movies, reading, vacationing at the seacoast, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also very interested in local politics and spent several years involved with the Conservation Commission.
She is survived by her three children, Margaret Cormier and her husband, Mary Casey-Gorman and her husband Frank, and Paul Sevigney; five grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Charles, Timothy, and Christopher; two sisters Pauline Blystone of VA, and Frances Roth of NH; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Leo, Joseph (Lindy) and Justin Reardon, Mary Gift, Eleanor Spellissy, and Ruth Sullivan.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Beacon Hospice for their support in her final days.
