Patricia A. (Bechard) Roy

LOWELL - Patricia A. (Bechard) Roy, 73, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Jean-Marc "Gino" Roy with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on June 19, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Laura (Scott) Bechard.
Mrs. Roy had been employed at the Greater Lowell Technical School in food services.
An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also liked to play bingo and make puzzles.
She looked forward to spending summers at Sanborn Shores in Hampstead, NH, and especially appreciated time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Patricia's family would like to thank the staff at the Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the compassionate and loving care they provided her.
In addition to her husband she leaves three children and their spouses, Kimberly and Paul Bukowiec of York, ME, Kellie and Shawn Chesbrough of Groton and Matthew and Jaclyn Roy of Lowell; 8 grandchildren, Ethan, Maxwell, Tessa, Paige, Madelyn, Dominic, Abby and Logan; a brother and his spouse, Roger and Dolores Bechard of Lowell; a sister and her spouse, Barbara and Albert Bartlett of FL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Vaillancourt, Denise and Ted Nunes, Lillian and Guy Bedard, Michel Roy and Philip Kalinowsky.; she also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Richard Bechard, and sister-in-law of the late Richard Roy and Vivian Kalinowsky.
