Patricia L. (Racine) Robarge, a Dracut resident and beloved wife of the late J. Roland Robarge, passed away at the Tufts Medical Center on Friday, April 14, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was 82.
She was Born in Lowell on December 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Raymond and Laura (Lizotte) Racine.
Patricia grew up in the Centralville section of Lowell and as a teenager worked at the Cameo Diner, a place she still visited. It was at the Cameo she met Roland. They celebrated 44 years of marriage until his death in 1998.
Patricia later worked as a seamstress for 25 years at Mederics Boutique, a job she truly enjoyed.
She enjoyed painting, coloring and ceramics. Patricia was a good cook who took pleasure in cooking for her family. She looked forward to trips to the beach. Patricia was a fan of old horror movies, like Godzilla and King Kong. She would watch the Creature Double Feature with her children on Saturday afternoons, hooking them on those movies as well.
Patricia was witty and funny with a tremendous sense of humor. A truthful person who taught her children values and morals. She loved life and taught her children to as well. She was the Best Mother in the World to her six children.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Roland and Deborah Robarge of Houston, TX, Robert and Linda Robarge of Nashua, NH, Raymond and Diane Robarge of Dracut, Richard and Cheryl Robarge of Chelmsford, Ronald Robarge and Albert LeRoux of St. Petersburg, Fl, Renee and Jamie Gavlik of Manchester, NH; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister in law Barbara Racine of Colonial Beach, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Racine.
