Patricia was a very special person and she leaves this earth as an inspiration to us all. Widowed with 4 young children, she raised her family with love, perseverance, and many special occasions. She loved travelling, socializing with her "Club" friends, downhill skiing (well into her 70's), and taking summer vacations at Moody Beach in Maine. Patricia worked as an executive secretary before and after raising her family. She was an active member at St. Michael Church for many decades as a member of the Altar Society, teaching religious education to special needs children, visiting Tewksbury State Hospital with the Catholic Daughters, and serving the poor in the community through St. Vincent de Paul. A sharp mind and an independent nature served Patricia well very late into her life, and a heartfelt thanks goes out to her wonderful next door neighbors, to her many special friends, and to a devoted team of caregivers led by Elaine Lawler, who together helped her remain in her home.
Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia's Life Celebration on Sunday, July 10th from 2 until 5 pm at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11 am at St. Michael Church, 543 Bridge St., Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of St. Michael Parish or to the Oblate Infirmary Fund, 486 Chandler St. Tewksbury, MA 01876,
