Patricia A. Hand

South Yarmouth - Patricia A. (Corbett) Hand, widow of Andrew E. Hand died Monday March 2, 2009, at her South Yarmouth home. She was 74.
Born in Boston on March 17, 1934, Patricia was a daughter of the late Matthew and Ellen "Nellie" (O'Reardon) Corbett.
She lived in the Brighton section of Boston in her youth, graduating from St. Columbkille High School there.
Patricia graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in sociology. She worked in social services for many years and had lived in Tewksbury and Lowell before retiring to Cape Cod.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Stephen and Donna Hand of Medford; two daughters and a son in law, Cheryl Hand of Dracut, Eleanor and Dominick DiMassino of Pepperell; three grandchildren, Danielle DiMassino, Angela Ricard, Duke Chamberland; a great granddaughter Laurel Ricard; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Matthew, Eugene, Joseph, William and Maurice Corbett.
