Patricia A. (Eagle) Gauthier

May 10, 1937 — December 1, 2014

Patricia Alice (Eagle) Gauthier, 77, a resident of Lowell and formerly Burlington, and Charleston, WV, died on Monday, December 1, 2014. She was the widow of Conrad "Buck" Gauthier. Patricia was born in West Virginia on May 10, 1937, a daughter of the late Cluster and Ruth (Gore) Eagle.

Patricia enlisted in the U.S. Navy when she was 18 years old. She enjoyed serving in the military where she met her husband, Conrad, a U.S. Marine. They settled in Burlington, to start their new life together where they raised three children.
Interested in higher education, Patricia attended night school at Northeastern University and then continued her studies in business at Lowell Technical Institute. She became interested in real estate and eventually partnered with her husband in a residential rental property business in Lowell. She was actively involved in the Landlords Association of Lowell.

During their married life, Conrad and Patricia enjoyed traveling back to her home state of West Virginia multiple times a year where they loved living in their second home. She took pleasure in spending time with her family down south and relished exploring the hills and hollows of her home state.

Frequent adventures traveling the world with her husband, Conrad was the highlight of her life. Some of her favorite trips included to Machu Picchu; horseback riding in the western United States; family camping weekends; going on safari in Africa; exploring the pyramids in Egypt; hiking the Grand Canyon; weekend trips with friends and numerous other travel destinations.

Patricia enjoyed and relied on her many close friendships in the Lowell area. Activities with her friends included bowling, book groups, luncheons and day trip adventures.

Survivors include her children, their spouses and grandchildren: Conrad J. and Judy Gauthier, and their children Jesse and Nancy; Stephen and Joann Gauthier and their children Alicia and Ashley; Lenore and Geoffrey Smith and their children Taylor, Austin and Natalie. Her sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Ashby Bishop, Lois and Scott Joslin; a brother and sister in law, Leslie and Patti Eagle; and many nieces and nephews in the south. She was also the sister of the late Donna Conner and Gary Eagle.
