Patricia A. (Lester) Cronin

Patricia A. (Lester) Cronin, beloved wife of the late William J. Cronin, Jr., passed away at her Christian Hill residence with her devoted family by her side, on Friday August 14, 2015. She was 70.

Pat was born in Lowell on September 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Agnes (Larson) and John Lester. She was educated in Lowell and graduated from Lowell State College with a B.S. in Education.
Pat taught at Sacred Heart School in Lowell and retired as a quality control specialist for the Raytheon Corporation.

Pat was the rock of her family and she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was fun loving and liked to be around people. Pat enjoyed time spent at her home in Lake Winnipesaukee, winters in Naples, FL and traveling with Bill and her friends.

Pat loved crocheting, crossword puzzles and reading. She was known to give blankets away to her family and friends. She especially enjoyed lunch dates with friends.

Pat lived a faith filled life and was a longtime communicant of St. Michael Parish. Throughout her life she was humble, patient and strong.

Surviving Pat are her four children and their spouses, Kathleen Swanson and her husband Eric Fitch of Westborough, Kristine Morrison and her husband Wayne of Lowell, Daniel Cronin and his wife Christina (Poitras) of Andover, William Cronin and his wife Carrie (Harrison) of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Meredith Swanson and Ross Fitch, Emma and Eric Morrison, Daniel and Cailin Cronin, Jack and Molly Cronin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Jacqueline "Lyn" Lester, and mother in law of the late Brian Swanson.
