Patricia A.(Logan) Chausse

Patricia A. (Logan) Chausse, a resident of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Dracut, and beloved wife of Leo P. Chausse, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, surrounded by her adored family.

Pat was born in Augusta, Maine on March 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Burke) Logan. Her family later moved to Newburyport where she attended and graduated from Newburyport High School.

Prior to her retirement Pat was an administrative assistant with the Internal Revenue Service and later with the Department of Defense.

Pat and Leo lived in Dracut prior to moving to Leesburg, Florida 15 years ago.

Pat enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She looked forward to playing cards, mahjong, shopping for the best bargain, going to the movies, traveling and golfing with Leo.

Leo and Pat could both boast of a hole in one at Monarch Golf Course at Royal Highlands until Pat could upstage Leo with a second one.
Family was paramount to Pat, she cherished the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She was known for baking the best cookies, her mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole.

Surviving her besides her husband Leo with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage this past October, are her two sons and daughters in law, Robert and Michelle Chausse of Dracut, Christopher and Paula Chausse of Pelham, NH, four grandchildren, Vanessa, Cameron, Austin, and Alexa; a brother Chuck and Laura Logan of Augusta, ME; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Stephen Chausse who died in 1981.Relatives and friends are invited to Pat's Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street from 9 until 11 AM on Tuesday. Her Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund C/O Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
