Patricia T. Casey

Patricia T. (Sawtelle) Casey, age 78, passed away peacefully after a longtime battle with cancer on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late James W. Casey, whom was the love of her life ever since their vows on July 13, 1964 in Revere, Massachusetts.

Born in Chelsea, MA on October 27, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Aplena (Pauline) S. (Wincheski) and Herbert W. Sawtelle, Sr. She worked for Watson mailing as a mail sorter for many years and later enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels as a driver in her local community.

Patricia was an avid lover of country music and enjoyed the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Jean Cummings and her wife, Maria of Wilmington, Michelle Casey of Hudson, NH, Dawn George and her husband, William of Hudson, NH and Richard Casey and his longtime significant other, Pamela Hines of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Emily Zuchowski and her husband, Travis, Hannah Poggi and her husband, Robert (Robby,) Maria Cummings, Umayyah (Maya) Wright, Anahita (Ana) Casey, Ayyub (Papi) Wright, Anthony (Tony) Cummings and Nicholas (Nick) Cummings; her great-grandson, Hayden Poggi; her brothers, Ralph Sawtelle, Sr. and his wife, Eleanor (Judy) of Milford, NH and Edward Sawtelle, Sr. and his wife, Pamela (Pam) of Lowell; his sisters, Sandra Sawtelle of Lowell and Julia Lacasse of Milford, NH; as well as many other family and friends.

She is predeceased by her brother, Ronald Sawtelle, Sr. and her sister, Anna Sawtelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5 until 8 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell.
