LOWELL - Patricia A. (Beaumont) Bellavance, 68, a resident of Lowell's Pawtucketville neighborhood, died Saturday morning, January 6, 2007 in a local nursing home.
Born in Lowell on January 31, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Beaumont and Pearl (Young)(Beaumont) Tourville.
Mrs. Bellavance was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School for girls and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Medical Technology. She worked for 33 years in the laboratory at the former St. Joseph's Hospital until her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Rita Church and was an Extraordinary Minister of Communion. She was a past member of Mt. Pleasant Golf Club and loved computers, crossword puzzles, books and most of all, butterflies.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Robitaille of Lowell; four nieces, Lynne Baril and her husband David of Lowell, Darlene Millette of Lowell, Susan Lavallee and her husband Kenneth of Chelmsford and Sharon Burnham and her husband Gary of Salem, NH; a nephew, Scott Beaumont and his wife Pam of Florida; 15 grandnieces and grandnephews, Tammy, Stephanie, Tommy, Alex, Kendra, Tori, Timmy, Joey, Bayley, Matthew, Jenna, Alyssa, Bryanna, Colton and Daniel. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Jane Shemchuk, Herbert and Blanche Young, Peter and Rita Young, Lorraine and Andy Andruszkiewicz and Robert and Geri Young. She also leaves her closest and dearest friend, Ann Stacy of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Eugene "Joe" Beaumont.
