Ona Richardson

November 29, 1957 — February 16, 2010

Ona Richardson, a precious woman of God, a resident of Lowell, MA and a former resident of Antigua, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening February 16, 2010 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell at the age of 52.

Born in Antigua on November 29, 1957, she was the daughter of Victoria Merrick and the late Leonard Merrick from Willikes Village in Antigua. She was the 5th of eleven children.

Ona was the mother of four children, baby Ludoff who passed shortly after birth and three surviving children, a son Ewen, Walcott Jr, and Kamasha Richardson. Ona also leaves behind four beautiful granddaughters; Tatianna, Jeahdenne, Devyn and Olivia. She was truly a loving mother and grandmother. She effortlessly filled both roles, as she was a single mother, to fulfill the needs of her family.

She was a communicant of the Lowell Assembly of God church in Tewksbury where she held the position of Deaconess, Sunday school teacher, Children's Choir Director and Adult Choir Member for many years.

She worked as a CNA and home health Care provider both in private practice and for several providers in the area.

Her passions were her children, grandchildren, family member, singing, serving on many ministries in the church, and foremost loving God.

Ona- my daughter, our mother, our sister, our aunt, our friend you will be greatly missed.
