Olga C. Chakar

Methuen - Olga (Madani) Chakar, 84, widow of Chukri Chakar, died Friday at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Chakar was born in Lebanon a daughter of the late Petros and Catherine (Hilane) Madani, in 1986 she immigrated to Methuen from Bourj-Hamoud Lebanon. While residing in Methuen Mrs. Chakar enjoyed laughing and dancing and a selfless love for her children.
She is survived by seven sons, Razek of Lebanon, George of Lawrence, Ragheb of Lebanon, Fouad of Paramus, NJ, Pierre of Derry, NH, Samir of Dracut, John of Lawrence; two daughters Marriette Hajali of Methuen, Jeannette Khoury of Methuen; two sisters Georgette Madani and Jeannette Hilne both of Lawrence; a brother Basil Madani of Sweden; twenty three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late George Madani. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. George Orthodox Church in Lawrence. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
