DERRY, NH - Normand Paul Caron, age 67, died on August 23, 2025. Normand was a long-time resident of Lowell and for some time in Dracut. For the past four years he resided in Derry, N.H.

He was born in Lowell, on June 26, 1958, and was one of five children to the late Pauline (Boucher) and Louis Caron.

Norm attended the Lowell school system and received a certificate in Photography from MCC in 2008.

His working career started at Paris shoe in Lowell as a leather cutter, then for many years at ECC in Wilmington as a machine operator, Lowell Medical Supply Company delivering Medical Equipment, Lam Research in Wilmington, as a shipper/receiver, and for 26 years at NetScout Systems, Westford, as the lead Receiver, where he retired on August 16, 2024.

He loved traveling with his wife Pat, family and friends. At the time of his death, he was doing what he enjoyed most, Cruising on the high seas with his wife by his side.

Throughout their married life they have taken ten cruises, five of them Boston to Bermuda. Their travels took them to Hawaii, Tahiti, Alaska, the Caribbean Islands as well as most of the 50 states and Canada. He enjoyed their yearly timeshare in Franconia Notch, NH, just chillaxin’.

He enjoyed Country line dancing-doing instruction and DJing, he was known as the Country Lovin’ Lowellian, Walking /Hiking, Bowling, Photography, Encaustics and watercolor painting, quilting and scrapbooking.

He had an art studio at Western Ave in Lowell, and for the last ten years at the Gates Block Building in Lowell. He was a member of the Arts League of Lowell, the Brush and Whistler House Galleries. He was an usher at the Merrimack Repertory Theater in Lowell.

He enjoyed going to concerts and even made a quilt with all his t-shirts, bandanas and concert tickets.

He served wine (Red or White), at the Arts League of Lowell, The Brush Gallery, Gallery Z and the Lowell National Parks, he was known as “the wine guy!”

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Pat Gauthier) Caron, for 35 years. They would have celebrated their 36th anniversary on October 8, 2025, on a road trip they were taking to Tennessee.

He is survived by his sister Donna (Caron) and brother in-law Roger McNulty, his brothers John and Steve Caron. Loving nieces and nephews whom Normand loved and adored, and they will miss him dearly, his goddaughter Erica McNulty and her partner Aaron Bagnell, Roger and his wife Katie (Steward) McNulty, TJ and Kelsey Caron, Shawn Caron and his finance Janelle Mandra, Gravity Caron, Michael and his wife Kate Caron. A great-niece and nephew who loved spending time playing with him, going to the beach and the playground, Madelyn and Jackson McNulty.

He is also survived by his wife’s family, Brother in-law Robert (Bob) Gauthier and his son Joshua Gauthier. His niece Jennifer (Gill) Latour and great niece Bethany Tine, Norm was their favorite “Uncle” who they loved and adored and will miss dearly.

He will deeply be missed by his many cousins, the Artist Community, NetScout Systems, Commonwealth Corporation, all the many friends he had met throughout his life, especially those he knew through Facebook.

He was pre-deceased by his brother David L. Caron, as well as his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins both on the Boucher and Caron side.

At the request of the family the services were held privately.
