Gilford, NH - Normand E. Paquette, 82, a resident of Gilford, NH, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Concord Hospice house with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Rosemarie Busby. Normand was predeceased by his first wife Jacqueline J. (Desrosiers) Paquette who passed in 2005.
Born in Lowell on March 1, 1936, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Duplessi) Paquette.
Normand served with the United States Army from 1956 until his Honorable Discharge in 1962, serving with the aviation division as a helicopter mechanic.
Prior to his retirement, Norman was employed for over 37 years for the Raytheon Corporation in Bedford.
A former resident of Dracut for 33 years, he had been a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church.
Normand enjoyed spending his summers at Lake Shore Park on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, NH.
In addition to his wife Rosemarie, he leaves three sons and their spouses, Paul and Denise (Thompson) Paquette of Sanford, FL, David and Barbara (Brodeur) Paquette of Windham, NH and Michael and Kathy (Krawczyk) Paquette of Hudson, NH; a daughter and her spouse, Michelle and Joseph Souza of Oviedo, FL; 10 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jacie and Ryan Paquette, Nolan and Allie Paquette, Brenna and Brooke Paquette, Danielle, Julianne and Nicole Souza; he also leaves Rosemarie's children and their spouses, Betty Anne and Jeff Canney and Cynthia and Kevin Hanley; also several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Francis, Rudolph and Donald Paquette, Theresa Levasseur, Florence St. Laurent, Jean Ferron and Georgette Martineau.
PAQUETTE - Relatives and friends are invited to Normand's Visitation on Friday morning from 10 until 11:30 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street.
