LOWELL - Normand D. Moreau, 81, a long time resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Annette L. (Plouffe) Moreau.
Born in Lowell on August 8, 1940, he was a son of the late Leo and Yvonne (Dumais) Moreau.
Prior to his retirement, Normand was employed by Medtronics of Danvers in the shipping/receiving department.
He enjoyed visiting the Plainridge Park Casino to take in the horse racing. He was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and enjoyed watching the games with his son Donald.
He leaves two sons, Donald N. Moreau of Lowell and Leo R. Moreau and his wife Pam of Broad Brook, CT; six grandchildren, Miranda Landry, Juliet Moreau, Lindsay Moreau, Brandon Moreau, Justin Moreau and Jasmine Moreau. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Rhonda Moreau Gray, his niece and her family as well as several nephews and their families. He was a brother of the late Leo Moreau, Priscille Grigg and Pearl Daigle.
Relatives and friends are invited to Normand's visitation on Saturday morning from 9 until 10:30 AM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street. Committal Prayers will be offered at 11:30 AM at the Pavilion at St. Joseph Cemetery.
