LOWELL - Normand P. Boucher, 80, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at a local healthcare facility.
He was the husband of Charlotte I. (Leblanc) Boucher, with whom he was married for 52 years.
Normand was born in Lowell on January 20, 1938, a son of the late Albert and Adeline (Mercier) Boucher.
Mr. Boucher retired from the former Alexander's Supermarket in Dracut following 25 years of service.
Normand was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving from 1959 until 1962, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
In addition to his wife Charlotte, he leaves two sisters-in-law, Annette Boucher and Cecile Boucher, both of Lowell; also many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and many dear friends. He was a brother of the late Gerard, Raymond, Robert, Elphege, Roger and Donald Boucher, Sr. Anita Boucher, Violette Rondeau and Gertrude Lacasse.
BOUCHER - Relatives and friends are invited to Normand's Life Celebration on Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:30 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford.
