Noella E. (Fortier) Aubrey

Lowell - Noella E. (Fortier) Aubrey, widow of George Aubrey and resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died on Friday October 28, 2011. She was 93.
Noella was born in Concord, NH, a daughter of the late Romuald "Joe" and Alphonsine (Jacques) Fortier.
In earlier years Noella was a stitcher at the former Porter's Dress Shop. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne there.
Noella enjoyed camping and spending time at Hampton Beach.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Roland N. and Ellen Aubrey of Lowell; three grandchildren, Paula, Debra and Brian Haakenstad; four great grandchildren, Arron, Ryan, Michael and Kayla Haakenstad; two great great grandchildren, Camden and Jayneah; a granddaughter in law Karen Haakenstad; three sisters in law, Lillian Fortier, Rita Aubrey, Doris Wiedbeck; and several nieces and nephews. Noella was the mother and mother in law of the late Eveline and Richard Bernier, and sister of the late Leo, Ralph, Rene, Emelda Fortier and Lillian Philbrick.
