DRACUT - Nancy A. (Machado) Rondeau, 56, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the High Point Hospice House with her loving family by her side.
Nancy was born in Lowell on June 21, 1964, a daughter of the late John R. Machado and Eileen R. (Shaughnessy) Machado of Dracut who survives her.
Nancy was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School, Class of 1982. She was employed by the Aramark Company at Greater Lowell Technical High School in the cafeteria.
Active in her community, she was a founding member of the Dracut Volunteers, following her father's lead with the Lowell Folk Festival Foundation, contiued volunter efforts also included The Joseph MiddleMiss Big Heart Foundation, Super Nick Forever 9, Life Time advocate of Dracut Firefighters Union 2586, Supporter of Local Veteran's Organizations and events and formerly served as secretary for Le Chanteclerc Club of Dracut.
She was also a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.
Most important to Nancy was spending time with her children and family and being an involved member of her community.
In addition to her mother she leaves two children, Andrew T. Rondeau and his partner Charlene Luna of Lowell and Emily G. Tallent of Dracut, a Freshman at the Greater Lowell Technical High School; two sisters, Susan Hogan of Hollis, NH and Gayle Burnham and her husband Derek of Lowell; her former husband and friend, Donald L. Rondeau of Lowell; her former father and mother-in-law, Gerard and Germaine (Greenwood) Rondeau of Lowell; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.Nancy was a loving mother to late Amanda S. Rondeau.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Nancy's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 4 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street.Due to current health restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are required at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass and burial will be private.
