Nancy A. (Bergeron) Lagos, 78, a longtime Dracut resident, died peacefully on Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. For the past three years she had been battling periods of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Charles A. Lagos of Dracut.
Born in Fitchburg on January 2, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Maxime Bergeron and Laura (Bergeron) Bergeron.
For many years Nancy was a secretary in the superintendants office for Dracut Public Schools. She was a faithful communicant of St. Michael Church and was a choir member there for more than 20 years. Nancy also enjoyed bowling in the Brunswick Bowling League.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Anthony M. Lagos of Dracut; three daughters, Alison Lawrence and her husband, Steve of Merrimack, NH, Pamela McNamara of Dracut, Melanie Callahan and her husband, Michael of Middleton. She was the mother of the late Christopher Lagos. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Christopher, Luke and Julie Lagos, Jessica Frost, Alexander and Holly Callahan, Nicholas and Emily McNamara; one great grandchild, Celine Lagos; a former daughter-in-law, Sharon Lagos and former sister-in-law, Liz Lagos.
