She was born in Lowell on May 14, 1955, daughter of Michael J. and Priscilla (Brouillette) McDermott of Dracut.
She was employed as a housekeeper at Saints Memorial Medical Center. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed listening to romantic music.
Surviving her besides her husband and parents are three sons, Michael A. Comtois, Daniel E. Comtois and Stephen R. Comtois all of Lowell; a brother, Michael McDermott and his wife Jane of Stoddard, NH; a sister, Colleen Cilley and her husband Jason of Dracut; several nieces and nephews including her god children Michelle Cilley and Alan Cilley of Dracut. She was the mother of the late Priscilla A. Comtois who died in 1998, and sister of the late Michelle M. McDermott.
